The Lincoln Project - Just a Gaggle of Hucksters

Since its inception late last fall the circle jerk known as The Lincoln Project has raked in millions, but the bulk of the funds (about 90%) paid to enterprises owned by members or gets dispersed directly to them. This group should be known instead as the ‘’Hypocrisy Project’’, based on the facts showing that what they complain the loudest about.

Rick Wilson has been in the midst of a particularly glaring flameout. The man who loves vulgarly describing President Trump’s racism has been exposed as harboring confederate affections. His infamous Rebel Flag beer cooler has rendered that extension of his bile as now moot. But other contradictions have come to light. Wilson has been harping on Trump about his lack of tax return transparency, but that seems projection now. He currently has a massive tax lien on his home. On top of this, the man who enjoys mocking Trump over being broke is also saddled with credit card debt to the tune of tens of thousands. And Wilson is hardly the lone prevaricator.

Fellow member John Weaver, who hails from the dismal son of a mailman John Kasich campaign is especially noteworthy. As the Lincoln Project has not shied away from the disproven Russian collusion story it has just been revealed he was registered as a Russian agent in order to lobby on behalf of Russian interests. It was not a matter of digging into his past either; Weaver obtained this status last summer, long after all matters concerning Russia have been demonized for years. Weaver has also been on the frontlines of referring to Trump as a tax cheat and fraudster. And Weaver has also found himself sitting on a massive tax lien on his home as well. And just to cap it off Weaver has ironically slammed Trump over his failed business dealings. Well the NYPost has found that Weaver and his wife have a lawsuit leveled against them by a Texas mall owner over their clothing business.

Just to complete the trifecta we get the nasty pointy headed Steve Schmidt, who enjoys a preferred status at MSNBC for being a GOP political strategist, is found to be lacking in political heft. His residence is in the state of Utah, but that state has effectively delisted Schmidt from the voting rolls. He has become labeled as an ‘’Inactive voter’’ due to inactivity over the past 2 years, as well as failing to respond to communications looking to confirm his status.

The crowd of self-guilding political ‘’operatives’’ has been gradually exposed on the regular in recent weeks, and the latest has arrived via the New York Post by Reporter Ebony Bowden and her tasty expose’ on the various members of TLP, and most amusing is they are rather upset about it. How dare anyone resort to their own tactics!

The result of this recent piece has brought out the daggers from The Lincoln Project. Bowden has come forward after the release of the article to say that she has been on the receiving end of serious aggression from the members. This comedy showcase sounds like a film reviewer who can be particularly hostile towards certain movies, but then becomes incensed when anyone dares to disagree with their opinion. Only they are permitted to be harsh and nasty, but the moment anyone comes after them they turn ugly.

The funniest part, what has the members of The Lincoln Project most upset is not conjecture and accusations — it is the facts.

And there is the hilarity to be found in this grift. An outfit that pretends to be the true arbiters of conservatism subsists mostly on fawning coverage in the left-wing media, does work strictly in opposition to those on the right, has come out to endorse Joe Biden, and collects the vast majority of its funding from Democrat sympathizers. You have to admire that level of grifting. Getting rich off of doing hack work to line your pockets with the largesse of liberal hysterics…I am completely jealous for not coming up with such a blatant scam.

The Media Transition to Trump

"Life is not fair to losers, or the critics of Donald Trump, and the way he won the presidency. He just won't stand still and give the rotten eggs a chance to hit their mark.
The Donald is conducting his transition to the White House in his own way, taking his time, choosing his Cabinet carefully, and rationing misery to his detractors. His critics, particularly in the know-it-all media, are having trouble with a transition of their own.
Almost a month has passed since the election, and the critics, who are supposed to be working their way through the five stages of grief -- denial, anger, bargaining, depression and finally acceptance -- are stuck in denial. They should be angry by now, and learning how to bargain with their emotions."— Wesley Pruden

The Weirdest Media Spin Yet for Obama

Don Surber
The day after a largely black audience walked out on him in Maryland, President Obama went on Al Sharpton’s MSNBC show in an effort to get black people to like him again.
Yes folks, Obama has fallen that low.
Sharpton asked him why he is supporting all these white folks who are running from him.
From the president: “The bottom line is, though, these are all folks who vote with me; they have supported my agenda in Congress. So this isn’t about my feelings being hurt. These are folks who are strong allies and supporters of me. I tell them -- I said, you do what you need to do to win. I will be responsible for making sure that our voters turn out.”
Obama’s handmaidens in the press immediately cringed, with the Washington Post headlining its report: “Obama giftwraps another sound bite for Republicans.
Aaron Blake wrote:
"While Obama’s previous comment suggested the election was indeed something of a referendum on him, these comments suggest not only that, but that Democratic candidates are actually on-board with him -- something most of them have made pains to argue is not the case.
Obama’s comments are the kind of thing Democrats might privately say to assure donors and the party base, but wouldn’t really say in public.
At the same time, he’s really only saying something that most political observers already believe to be true -- that however much distance these Democrats are seeking from the president, they will generally be on-board with his agenda. Almost all Democrats in Congress, after all, vote with their party the vast majority of the time."
You see, the problem is not his incompetence or the dishonesty of Democrats who say one thing but will do another -- such hypocrisy is accepted by the Washington Post when a Democrat shows two faces. No the problem is Republicans will sound bite the president.
 Oh noes!
Readers must admit this is the weirdest spin yet in 10 years of spinning for this empty suit, beginning with his over-rated speech at the 2004 DNC convention.

What Happens if You Throw a Party and No One Shows Up?

by Robert Janicki

Ask President Obama or UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon. They've sent out invitations to world leaders to attend the upcoming UN Climate Summit in New York.  It's really bad news for President Obama, who was planning on taking in a Broadway show or two, with the travel being paid for by American taxpayers.  You remember what that endangered species is, right?  It's the 50% of tax filers who actually pay personal income taxes to support the narcissist in chief and his liberal agenda of growing government.

Anyway, the responses of world leaders have been, well, something less than expected or hoped for by the two globalists who sent out the invitations.

It seems world leaders have better things to do than show up to listen to a boatload of climate disaster bullshit from pseudo scientists, who have financial interests in promoting the hoax of global warming.

Eric Worrall writes: The imminent climate summit in New York is rapidly turning into an utter embarrassment for President Obama and UN Secretary General Bank Ki-Moon, in addition to becoming a bit of a punishment round for national deputy leaders.
Aussie PM Tony Abbott today defended his decision not to hop on an earlier flight to America, so he could attend the UN climate conference in New York, because he has more important matters to attend to, such as running the country.

Read the list of some prominent world leaders who have better things to do than attend a global summit circle jerk of jerks promoting a hoax.

The Loony Left

"It is a world of opposites where progressive is regressive.
It is the land of Cheech and Chong."

by Sam Huntington

No one I know on the right believes that capitalism is perfect. No one I know on the right thinks that our economy should operate without any regulation or oversight. What we do believe on the right is that they, who govern least, govern best. And while I think there should be oversight, we should pay as much attention to those who are doing the oversight, as we are to those whose corporate behaviors we intend to monitor. I am confounded by the fact that placing government in an oversight role is akin to hiring a fox to guard the hen house.

But what is it, exactly, that the leftist believes about the economy? There are several variables, of course. Some of these people are Keynesian ideologues who dream about a welfare state through industrial democracy. Others believe government should nationalize the economy and govern through central planning. One might recall that the Soviet Union tried central planning, too. Yet, some on the American left persist. It is the classical demonstration of insanity—at least according to Albert Einstein. Still other leftists are anarchist communists. Amazingly, while many of these people denounce globalization, they seek to impose it through their illogical support of the United Nations.

Still other leftists advocate in favor of Marxian economies. They seek to make a distinction between Marx the philosopher, and Marx the economist. I suspect they do this in order to mask their goal of imposing communism on the rest of us. It is convoluted even for leftists, which is why I think they frequently do not make any sense. They regurgitate the talking points, but they have no idea what the hell these words mean.

And then we are blessed with the left-libertarian, libertarian socialists, and the outright anarchists, who demand a decentralized economy run by trade unions, worker’s councils, and cooperatives —people I like to think of as fascists in mufti. Leftist will argue that a society without substantial equality will distort the development of not only deprived persons, but also those who privileges undermine motivation and their sense of social responsibility. It is a collectivist mentality, and might I add, the bane of a free society—for whom better to dictate to everyone else than the leftist with all the best ideas?

Ah, but there’s the catch. Leftist ideas are not the best ideas; among clear-thinking people, they are unfathomable. Who but a mentally deficient person can prefer regulation in place of free markets, or bureaucracies more than corporations, or government controlled insurance plans, rather than private insurances, and more government control over the economy rather than less.

We do have to acknowledge the consistency of the American left, however, for in spite of all that history tells us about the failure of communism and socialism in the 20th Century, American leftists remain committed to irrational notions. Still, we must remind ourselves that it was not an easy task to produce such troglodytes: it has taken more than three generations to brainwash these people. As we have seen, leftists live in a bizarre world. It is a world of opposites where progressive is regressive. It is the land of Cheech and Chong.

Listen carefully now; you may even hear the leftist protestations in the background. “The state of our economy proves that we need more government, not less.” Except that it was government that placed us in this position to begin with. At best, George Bush had it only half right. Reducing taxes is a good thing, but not while increasing government spending. Compassionate George seemed incapable of understanding that if taxation is a tourniquet around the neck of a robust economy, government spending is a gunshot wound to the head.

I personally think Milton Friedman had some very good ideas about free market capitalism, but I do not think he had all the answers. The problem is that, looking around, there is no one on the other side of this argument that can compete with Friedman. So where are all of those good ideas from the left? Answer: there are no good ideas on the left. If anything, leftist economic policy has made things worse —much worse.

When government policy seeks to diminish capital investments, no one in a proper mental state will want to risk their capital. Without capital, businesses cannot remain competitive. A non-competitive business is only a few steps away from closing its doors. This doesn’t matter to leftists, however. What matters is that government regulates businesses —for their own good.

Still, our topic is far too complex for the space allocated to a blog post. For example, we have not even touched upon corrupt government, which forces corporations to find some way of profiting within a sullied framework. If businesses want to survive in a corrupt environment, they have to find some way of accommodating the devil; and they do find ways.

Our question to the leftist provocateur remains: who will hire American workers when government bureaucracy replaces the American corporation? Who will pay salaries when businesses have been taxed or regulated out of existence? When businesses fold, when workers are unemployed, when the US no longer manufactures anything, when the economy is destroyed (we’re close to that now), then who will carry the tax burden for the United States?

Oops. I guess the left didn’t think about that.

Huma Abedin Host "Women for Weiner"

Huma Abedin, wife of the dashing pervert ex-congressman and NY Mayor hopeful  Anthony Weiner, is rounding up a few deep pocket New York socialite friends to rally around her husband this evening and drop some bucks, which will get her face on the newstand and a another puff piece in that journal of political integrity 'The Huffington Post'.  But here, this is all you get:

  NY Post
"The Hillary Clinton senior adviser and her sister, Heba, are hosting the first Women for Weiner fund-raiser tonight at the home of author and socialite Jill Iscol, who also hosted a bridal shower for Chelsea Clinton. Abedin’s host committee includes designer Reem Acra, Rory Tahari, lawyer Binta Brown and Cheryl Saban, wife of Clinton backer Haim Saban. Weiner himself is expected to greet some 100 attendees. The fund-raiser comes just as the former congressman is running second in the polls with leading Democratic rivals Christine Quinn and William Thompson."
Rumor has it that Bill Clinton will be tending the bar for the ladies and will be available to answer any question regarding .....political matters.

via Talk Straight
"….yet how few of those pied piper following mice were silent over Benghazi, the IRS and NSA scandals, the arming of terrorists in Libya, the slaughter of Christians in Egypt, the way the Obamas spend tax payer dollars on personal vacations and concerts while the rest of us look for work….
…convinces me you are all little more than sheep that bray at the command of your master.

Here We Go Again...

Where are the men and women who, just two years ago, were telling everyone they’d vote their convictions rather than vote for another John McCain and the same old, stale politics which placed our country’s future on the knife edge?

Well think about the primary system the GOP uses. Where do they go first?  Iowa, a blue state in 2008 with a population density approaching zero and lots of money in farms and ethanol, which require government subsidies just to exist these days. Second, it’s off to New Hampshire, in the liberal Northeast. Jump on the plane and jet to South Carolina, home of Sen. Amnesty Graham, poster boy of the RINOs behind McCain for most of the last ten years, for the third election. Then it’s off to Florida, which, while a “red state”, is packed full of all the old, retired Republicans from the northeast who moved to warmer weather.

This is, and has been for a long time, all carefully scripted, you realize?
The biggest batch of electoral votes among the Red States is called “TEXAS”. Why doesn’t the Texas primary come early? Why do we get blue and purple state primaries first, and leave the majority of the conservative base silenced and ignored for so long?

Once you examine how they tune up the base, you’ll realize why the GOP has such a ridiculous primary system so the establishment candidate can get a few small, but highly publicized, victories under his belt. These insignificant victories in fairly rural purple and blue states will be touted for weeks, if not months, before the bulk of the conservative base gets to vote, and they are used to build the image of inevitability for the hand picked, progressive Republicans like Romney so that when it comes time to vote in Texas, the average Republican voter thinks they have to “hold their nose and vote for Romney” because he’s the only shot at winning.  Iowa and New Hampshire combined have like 1/10th of the conservatives in them that you can find in two or three counties in Texas or Oklahoma, but they’re blown up and used to make those voters in Texas and Oklahoma think they’d better vote the way the GOP establishment wants them to vote, or else…

If they held the first primaries in Texas and Oklahoma, why, by God, a real conservative might win a few big fights early on and the liberal Republican candidates wouldn’t stand a chance for the remainder of the primaries.

Notice how there aren’t any stump speeches in the GOP primary these days? How it’s all “debate” driven? Did you ever wonder why that is?

Could you imagine a Romney speech in a truly free environment? It’d look like the Health Care Townhalls from 2009. Angry, disenfranchised conservative voters, 75% of whom hate Romney and want anyone else at all, would be screaming, swearing, and generally making a scene if he EVER tried to get out and interact with the common Arkansan.

Where is the TEA Party during these primaries??? Actual votes are being cast RIGHT NOW. I can write that the TEA Party is dying because I now have freakin’ empirical evidence that they are all falling right in behind Candidate More-Of-the-Same-Bullshit.

Now it seems we've got a one man race with Romney and no TEA Party anywhere to be seen, much less heard from, and all of these people who said “Not a good idea” to a TEA Party rally are lining up behind Romney. Stellar. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy on the insides, huh? All of that work and effort, and it winds up being useless, hell, worse than useless because prior to the TEA Party, the GOP was done for the next 40 years........ but now they’re back, and putting the blinders right back on their base.
