Barack Takes Harry for a Ride

Harry Reid got ousted from his position as Senate Majority Leader and is pointing the finger and his long time buddy and pal Barack Obama for the ginormous losses their party experienced Tuesday night. Or at least that’s what his chief of staff David Krone is saying.

Nine Facts Democrats Don't Want You to Hear Before You Vote Tomorrow

Cain TV

As we all get ready to head to the polls tomorrow, Democrats want you focused on the Koch brothers (that evil fang-toothed fictionalized version, not the real ones who are excellent and highly successful businessmen) and their “war on women” crapola.

What they do not want you focused on is the data that shows what failures they have been leading this nation. Many people do not even know the facts I’m about to share, because the mainstream media do not report them. So read them and share them with nine friends who are going to vote tomorrow. It just might help decide whether Harry Reid remains in control of the Senate or is sent to the back bench where he belongs. (Actually that’s not where he belongs, but I’ll not get into that now.)

Nine facts Democrats do not want to talk about:

1. Sluggish economic growth. Yes, we’ve had a couple of strong quarters, but annualized growth throughout the Obama presidency has been less than 2 percent. That is horrendous.
 2. Medium income is down $3,000 per household since Obama took office. Astonishing.
 3. The labor participation rate is down from 67 percent to 62 percent, which makes the published unemployment rate look much better than it really is. The U6 rate, which includes those who have given up looking for work, remains over 10 percent.
 4. More part-time jobs have been created than full-time jobs in last six years.
 5. The home ownership rate is down from 67 percent to 64 percent.
 6. Taxes went up when the Bush tax cuts were allowed to expire. Liberals will say that’s fine because they only went up on the rich. I say the government did what it too often does and chose to target producers and opportunity creators.
7. ObamaCare is a failure! More people are losing their insurance than are becoming newly insured, and 51 percent of those enrolled in the exchanges say they will not re-up given the opportunity the next time around. Then there are the 29ers (people being limited to 29 hours a week because of ObamaCare mandates) and the 49ers (not the San Francisco ones . . . the businesses intentionally staying under 50 employees to avoid the coverage mandate). There are also thousands of doctors refusing patients with ObamaCare coverage because they can’t cover their costs on the reimbursements, while thousands more doctors are retiring early.
8. The national debt has exceeded $17 trillion for the first time in U.S. history. Remember when Obama declared as a senator that running up debt was unpatriotic? Um. Yeah.
9. From the Middle East to Eastern Europe to Russia to Britain to the Falkland Islands to Latin America to Mexico to the Far East, our foreign policy is a muddled mess. Shockingly to Obama the rest of the world did not conform to his global ideals just because he gave speeches saying they should.
These are facts. Tell everyone!

Obama’s Extraordinary Damage to His Party

Peter Wehner
"How much damage is Barack Obama doing to the Democratic Party? According to the respected political analyst Stuart Rothenberg, the answer is quite a lot. According to Rothenberg, “President Barack Obama is about to do what no president has done in the past 50 years: Have two horrible, terrible, awful midterm elections in a row.”
Mr. Rothenberg compares Obama to the worst midterm numbers of two-term presidents going back to Harry Truman. He concludes that it’s likely that over the course of two midterm elections, Democrats will lose somewhere in the range of 68-75 House seats range and 11-15 Senate seats.
Those final totals won’t be known for some time to come, given that Louisiana and Georgia may have run-off races that extend into next January. But certainly by Wednesday morning, we’ll have a pretty good sense of just how bad of a night Democrats will have suffered. Most of the polling of late suggests things are breaking for Republicans, though this development should keep the champagne on ice for now. In any event, it’s not too early to consider the fact that Barack Obama may be on the verge of doing unprecedented damage to the party he represents.
The man who thought he was the symbol of the possibility of America returning to its best traditions may become the symbol of the most politically destructive (to his own party) chief executive in modern American history. In light of the awful Obama years, voters are in the process of giving a fresh look to the GOP. The question is whether it will be enough to win the trust of voters who have turned against the president."

MSNBC Talking Head: OK With Racial Fear Tactics If That's What It Takes to Win

Loonies of MSNBC Never Fail to Deliver World Class Stupidity

NewsBusters
Could this be the most cynical statement of the campaign season? The woman whose recent wedding President Obama attended is okay with stoking the racial fears of black Americans—if that's what it takes to drive them to the polls and secure Dem victories. Alex Wagner devoted a segment of her MSNBC show today to the naked appeals to the racial fears of black Americans that Democrats are making in campaign ads.
Wagner discussed Dem ads that seek to stoke black fear toward Republicans by invoking Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown. You might think Wagner would have condemned these ugly tactics, explicitly aimed at driving Americans apart based on their race. Think again. To the contrary, Wagner concluded the segment by saying that it shouldn't have to be the kind of threats contained in these ads that get people to vote, "but if it does, so much stronger the party is for it." - See the Video Here

The Weirdest Media Spin Yet for Obama

Don Surber
The day after a largely black audience walked out on him in Maryland, President Obama went on Al Sharpton’s MSNBC show in an effort to get black people to like him again.
Yes folks, Obama has fallen that low.
Sharpton asked him why he is supporting all these white folks who are running from him.
From the president: “The bottom line is, though, these are all folks who vote with me; they have supported my agenda in Congress. So this isn’t about my feelings being hurt. These are folks who are strong allies and supporters of me. I tell them -- I said, you do what you need to do to win. I will be responsible for making sure that our voters turn out.”
Obama’s handmaidens in the press immediately cringed, with the Washington Post headlining its report: “Obama giftwraps another sound bite for Republicans.
Aaron Blake wrote:
"While Obama’s previous comment suggested the election was indeed something of a referendum on him, these comments suggest not only that, but that Democratic candidates are actually on-board with him -- something most of them have made pains to argue is not the case.
Obama’s comments are the kind of thing Democrats might privately say to assure donors and the party base, but wouldn’t really say in public.
At the same time, he’s really only saying something that most political observers already believe to be true -- that however much distance these Democrats are seeking from the president, they will generally be on-board with his agenda. Almost all Democrats in Congress, after all, vote with their party the vast majority of the time."
You see, the problem is not his incompetence or the dishonesty of Democrats who say one thing but will do another -- such hypocrisy is accepted by the Washington Post when a Democrat shows two faces. No the problem is Republicans will sound bite the president.
 Oh noes!
Readers must admit this is the weirdest spin yet in 10 years of spinning for this empty suit, beginning with his over-rated speech at the 2004 DNC convention.

Panic Mode

Democrats Shuffle Their Deck of Race Cards
Ricohet
"Faced with a deeply unpopular President and a potential GOP wave, Democrats are digging deep to motivate their lackadaisical base. As always, the most prominent play is the race card.
In North Carolina, fans of incumbent Senator Kay Hagan are passing out disturbing fliers in African-American neighborhoods. “Kay Hagan Doesn’t WIN! Obama’s IMPEACHMENT Will Begin! Vote in 2014” says the text, which is printed over a photo of a white crowd lynching a black man."
"The local chapter of the NAACP doesn’t see a problem with the flier. President of the Fayetteville chapter, James Buxton, told the Observer, “That’s what the community feels. That if the Senate is taken over by the Republicans, and it remains the Republicans (in the majority) in the House of Representatives, they’re going to impeach him.”
County Republican Party Chairwoman Linda Devore saw things a little differently, saying, “I think it’s unfortunate to use this kind of emotion as a means to getting people out to vote. It’s bad information.”
The Fayetteville police are looking into the matter as “hate materials,” and expect federal authorities to be involved as they view the flier as an implied threat against the president.
If conservatives want to set the record straight, the GOP should reprint the lynching photo with the headline, “Remember When North Carolina Was Run by White Democrats? Vote Republican!”

But that's not all, this from Judicial Watch:

NAACP: Create Confusion By Deliberately Misleading Voters
"According to a letter from a lawyer for the State of North Carolina to the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), a speaker at a recent NAACP conference in North Carolina urged audience members to mislead the NAACP’s own members into believing they do not need to register to vote in advance, or that they do not need to vote at their assigned polling place. Why? The letter alleges: To create confusion and animosity during the upcoming mid-term elections in North Carolina, and to use the evidence of that confusion in the ongoing litigation between Eric Holder’s Justice Department and North Carolina and to show that North Carolina’s election integrity laws are discriminatory."

Deceased Floridians Kick Off Early Voting

Nearly 1 Million Americans Have Cast Ballots Already
For Midterm Elections
(AP) — Midterm elections are less than three weeks away, yet more than 904,000 Americans already have cast their ballots, with almost 60 percent of those early votes in Florida, according to data compiled by The Associated Press from election officials in 11 states.
Those numbers are climbing daily as more states begin their advance voting periods and more voters return mail-in ballots ahead of Nov. 4.  Thirty-three states and the District of Columbia allow some form of advance voting other than traditional absentee voting requiring an excuse.
A spokesman for national Democrats, Justin Barasky, said the party is especially focused on encouraging early voting by Democrats who usually don’t participate in midterms.
More than 2.35 million people voted early in Florida four years ago, while the 2012 number neared 4.8 million. It’s worth noting that Republicans led in the early stages in 2012 — a turnabout from Obama’s first presidential campaign. Yet Obama ended up carrying Florida a second time anyway.

Democrat Blues: Seeing Red Everywhere......

Republicans have single-party control in 23 states:
And More to Come

Mother Jones
There's never been a worse time to be a Democrat in a red state. Republicans now hold all the reins of power—the governorship and both houses of the state legislature—in 23 states. That's up from just nine before the 2010 elections. There are now more states under single-party control than at any time since 1944. And without even token Democratic opposition, Republicans have busted unions in Michigan and Wisconsin, passed draconian tax cuts in Kansas, and enacted sweeping new abortion restrictions across the nation.
"We are on offense this year," says Jill Bader, communications director for the Republican State Leadership Conference (RSLC), which works to elect Republican state legislators. "We're building these new majorities in some states that have been traditionally Democratic."
Midterm elections present problems for Democrats. The party's most loyal voting blocs—young voters and minorities, in particular—tend to vote at lower rates than in presidential years. This year, President Barack Obama's falling approval rating could drag down Democratic candidates for state legislative seats. And thanks to the GOP's widespread success in 2010, Republicans were able to redraw many states' legislative maps after that year's census, gerrymandering themselves into solid and consistent majorities.

The Statement That May Have Sealed Mary Landrieu's Fate

This evening I attended the U.S. Senate Candidate's Debate held  here at Centenary College Shreveport. For the most part, it was as expected, Landrieu attacked Cassidy's voting record, Cassidy corrected the lies in her campaign ads and made her own up to her record which she seems proud of, and the Tea Party Candidate seemed bored with the whole thing.

At the very end, all three candidates were asked to rate the President, and Governor Jindal. It was Mary's answer that brought smiles and muted laughter from some of the state's most noted political watchers in attendance. Having distanced herself from the Obama throughout her re-election campaign, no one expected her to answer as she did. Running 4 points behind Cassidy, some say it was a 'Hail Mary', so to speak, and a very unwise thing to say.

Here's video from Louisiana Public Broadcasting.

Sleazy Wendy Davis Goes for The 'Hate The Disabled' Vote

by Robert Janicki
Wendy Davis, Democrat candidate for Texas governor is at it again with her despicable campaigning against Republican candidate, and current Texas Attorney General, Greg Abbott.  Davis' latest sleazy ad, not unlike her other ads, centers around Abbott's wheelchair bound status, a permanent condition since 1984 and caused by an accident with a tree falling on Abbott.  Abbott immediately became permanently paralyzed from the event.
It should be noted that Davis is the state senator that held up the Texas senate at the end of their last term by filibustering against an anti-abortion Bill that Governor Rick Perry was about to sign with the vote of the Republican senate majority.  Davis is pro choice (read that as pro baby killer) and strongly supports every other radical liberal position under the sun.
Davis is the worst of the worst liberals you can imagine.  There is nothing that Davis will not stoop to  in her driven desire to win high public office at any cost.  Just ask her ex-husband how far she will go to use people.  Davis filed for divorce from her husband the day she graduated from Harvard Law School, which her husband, at the time, paid for.  How deceitful is that?  That's just typical Wendy Davis.
Well, the cost of Davis' political mudslinging is mounting to epic proportions and Davis' reputation as a someone who will smear an opponent as the low life politician she is, will cost her this November 4th.  She is currently trailing Abbot 49-40 in the latest polling.  It's doubtful that Texans on the political fence will let this egregious and despicable smear go unnoticed when they vote against the low life that Davis really is.
You can see the Davis wheelchair ad at Politico and judge for yourself if this is a despicable smear or just politics Texas style.  I'm thinking you'll be just as revolted as I am.

Last Minute Shake-Up in the Mary Landrieu Campaign

Landrieu Replaces Campaign Manager:
Brings in Old Trusted Advisers

Embattled 3 term Louisiana Senator Mary Landrieu, who has slipped in the polls and endanger of not making the December run-off, has shaken up her campaign as a last ditch effort to gain ground on Rep. Bill Cassidy and his lead in the race.
N.O.Times-Picayune -Facing the toughest battle of her political career, Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., is replacing her campaign manager and bringing in experienced hands from her previous three successful Senate runs to help with the final push to the Nov 4th open primary. Adam Sullivan, who had been campaign manager, is leaving that role but continuing as an advisor to the campaign.
Spotted Recently in a New Orleans Cafe
"As Sen. Landrieu has done in all of her races, she is bringing on some of her long-time and trusted advisers to assist during the last month of the race to lead us to victory on Nov. 4," said Landrieu campaign spokesman Fabien Levy.

Aides didn't say why Sullivan is being replaced, other than to say Landrieu is bringing in people she's comfortable with and has relied upon for previous campaigns. Winning a Senate seat has never been easy for Landrieu in a state trending more Republican and conservative, but this race appears to be her toughest yet.

Landrieu is facing stiff challenge from a field led by Republican Rep. Bill Cassidy of Baton Rouge and Tea Party Conservative Republican Rob Maness of Madisonville.

Dems Losing Confidence in The Crisco Kid

DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Shittz
"Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz is in a behind-the-scenes struggle with the White House, congressional Democrats and Washington insiders who have lost confidence in her as both a unifying leader and reliable party spokesperson at a time when they need her most.
Long-simmering doubts about her have reached a peak after two recent public flubs: criticizing the White House’s handling of the border crisis and comparing the tea party to wife beaters.
The perception of critics is that Wasserman Schultz spends more energy tending to her own political ambitions than helping Democrats win. This includes using meetings with DNC donors to solicit contributions for her own PAC and campaign committee, traveling to uncompetitive districts to court House colleagues for her potential leadership bid and having DNC-paid staff focus on her personal political agenda.
She’s become a liability to the DNC, and even to her own prospects, critics say......"

Dingy Harry's Alma Mater Strips His Name from Building

Southern Utah University, where Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid went to school, is stripping his name from one of its buildings after the city where the college is located got $40,000 in pledges in five days from people who wanted his name to come down.

The Nevada Democrat’s name had been put on the Southern Utah University Outdoor Engagement Center (?) to honor the school’s famous alumnus, President Scott Wyatt told The Spectrum newspaper.
"The Harry Reid name created confusion about the purpose of the center because nobody associated Harry Reid with the outdoors, so they were having a hard time creating a clear brand.
While Cozzens is still somewhat concerned that the name may be actively used in the future, he said he is happy to see the Reid name go for now, arguing that he had been approached by friends from Nevada who said they would not support the university as long as the senator’s name was associated with it in any way......"
