The Suit is not the Only Thing That's Empty.......

It seems Dear Leader’s speech from Wednesday's press conference is getting  universally panned.

This one made me laugh:

“He tried to downplay the Democrats’ loss of the Senate by talking to the two-thirds of people who did not vote. He tried to insinuate that it was a bipartisan rejection. He reminded us several times that he is still president. (“I’m the guy elected by everybody.”)

Wait a second. Does he think turnout in 2012 was universal? Ummm, no. 57.5% and down from 2008. And about half of us voted against him anyway.

See, the midterms aren’t legitimate elections because no one votes, but everyone votes in the presidential elections. Or something.

The speech was like an extension of the hilarious MSNBC coverage of the election with the president playing the role of Chris Hayes.

I, for one, am shocked that the thin-skinned narcissist we’ve come to know and love took Tuesday’s election results with all the grace and dignity of a toddler denied candy.
